Question : Windows 2003 server will not allow me to access shares since upgrade
Recently did a bunch of Microsof Windows updates on a Windows 2003 domain controller. Been having major issues with the shares and domain policy since.
I cannot access the shares from the server itself but can access them from any other PC in the office. I can go to \\ServerName and see the shares but when I try to access them I get and message "No network provider accepted the given network path."
Also I cannot got to \\IPAddress I get the error "Windows cannot find IP Address"
Third symptom is when I try to open Domain Security Policy it says it cannot find any domain controller.
I have dont sfc \scannow and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling File and Print shareing. "Client for Microsoft Networks" is installed. And I am not getting any additional errors in event viewer.
HELP this is bizzar.

Are you using SEP? If you are please download the cleanwipe tool to fully remove the product.
