Question : Vista search function disabled when indexing is off
I would like to be able to search but with indexing off, it doesn't work:
I disabled indexing by Explore/C:/properties/Gene
ral/unchec
k Index
Now when I seach it doesn't find anything.
I would also like to know why it seems to run my hard drive so long & frequentlty just to index the file names.
Thank you.
