Question : Outlook Express - Can't Search folders

I use Outlook Express.

All of a sudden when I search my inbox or sent items, it finds nothing, even when I enter a name a KNOW I sent something to.

Until today it was working fine.

Version 6.00.2900.2180.

What's wrong?

The indexes may have gotten corrupted somehow. I'd suggest compacting the folders. Either highlight an individual folder in the folder list, then choose menu item File/Folder/Compact, or choose File/Folder/Compact All Folders to do them all at the same time. Compacting will force a rebuild of the indexes.
