Question : 2007 combo not working in 2003 - .xlsm vs. .xls

I have a 2007 worksheet with a series of activeX combos.  I used the MS compatability download for working in 2003.  The combos are no longer being recognized as combos.  When clicked they seem to be in design mode only.  What have I done wrong?

can you upload a sample file with a combo box that displays the behaviour you describe? There can be many reasons, among them that features used in the combo box are simply not compatible with 2003.

A lot of 2007 functionality can simply not be re-created in 2003, even with the compatibility pack, and you may not see the full working version if 2007-specific code has been used.
