Question : FTP Client for Ubuntu / Linux
I have a brand new Ubuntu 10.04 instance (nothing but the default installation is installed), and apparently it does not have any FTP Client software installed. I'm trying to open an FTP connection to a remote FTP site, and I'm just getting this error:
-bash: ftp: command not found
How can I install the required client software to be able to open an FTP connection? ( I don't need an FTP Server - but I will install it if needed).

Try the following command and install
ftp.
sudo apt-get install ftp
