Question : Need to set mac user as local print admin ??

We have several users in our Print shop with macs.  If any of the printers restarts, they are prompted for Administrator username/password to login.  This is tedious and unnecessary.  Is there a way we can add their mobile mac account into a local print admin group on the mac?  The user affected has OS X 10.6.3  We are in a Microsoft AD environment and this MAC is on our domain.  The printer in question is an HP Design Jet 6100 60" printer setup as its own network printer.

Have you tried this in terminal, do this as administrator? ...on Mac

dseditgroup -o edit -p -a(affected_username) -t user _lpadmin
