Question : I need to restore  some files from Win 98 backup

This follows a thread 10/2010 it was not possible then ...
I cannot rebuild a PC in 98 for the purpose
I've tried installing and running msbackup in a dos window and in safe mode commant prompt only (just comes up with a hardware error)
Does anybody know a nice bit of code that enables me to extract the files from the backup set
