Question : Out of Office Assistant not working w/Forwarding Configured

Hello Experts,

I configured Out of Office replies on employee that no longer works here, which worked fine. But when I configured all her emails to be forwarded to someone else the Out of Office reply is not working.

My intent is to let internal employees that send this ex-employee's emails that it is being forwarded to someone else.

Our email server is Exchange 2007 SP2 running on Server 2003 R2.

That link wont tell you anything you dont already know. You cant FORWARD the account AND have Out Of Office replies on I am affraid.

What you should do is just leave the out of office on saying something like....

"You email has NOT Been seen by XXXXXX as they are no longer with the company. Please forward any mail to YYYYYYY for a response.  This mail box will be closed on dd/mm/yyyy"
