Question : DNS Resolution problem
We have recently changed the IP range of our network from 10.15.x.x to 10.16.x.x. We have run into a few problems that are affecting some computers but not others. We have a website called
http://salegrammarlg.sale.
com
and this resolves to 10.16.88.3. Now some computers open the website fine but others say the website cannot be found. If you nslookup that url it resolves to 10.16.88.3 and if you ping that website it also resolves to that IP but it still cannot open the website. The host file on the website has 10.16.88.3 pointing to the url. It seems weird that some computers can access it but others cannot. Also on the computers that cannot resolve it they cannot resolve other internal websites where the computers that can access it can resolve other internal websites. Any advice is much appreciated as these are essential websites.
