Question : Computers dropping off the network
I have some newly imaged computers that I've tested and all works just as planned,
but when taking them to another building and connecting them to our network, they might grab an
IP address for a few seconds then drop off. This only happens to a few of the computers that
I've imaged, but when bringing them back to my office, they hit the network, receive an the same
IP address as they did in the other building, but stay on the network and work fine... no problems
at all. I can assign the same address they were given as a static address and they work as
long as I keep it static, but when I reset back to DHCP, within a few seconds, they lose their
connection. My office is on the same domain and subnet as the other building... all running off
a Windows Server 2003 AD domain. Any help on this will be appreciated.
