Question : Connecting iphone to Exchange. Unable to verify account information
Hi,
I have a client that has unexpectably got rid of all their blackberries and purchased iPhones. they have asked me to connect these iphones to their Exchange server. After hours of research and following procedues, i get the following error message when trying to connect; "unable to verify acount information".
The server is SBS 2003 running Exchange 2003 SP2.
The OWA is working fine.
I have followed the instruction to configure IIS correctly and have tested Activesync in htps://testexchnageconecti
vity.com with successful results.
I am inputting the following into the Iphone;
email: <
[email protected]
>
Server: <mail.domain.com> (i use mail.domain.com/exchange to access owa)
Domain: domain (with .com and without, also left blank as I read it can pick up the domain from username if the email address is used)
Uername: full email address (See Domain)
Password: <Windows password for that user>
Use SSL: off (Again i read you can do this with SSL off)
I have opened port 443 and 143. Ensured IMAP is running on Exchange.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as all the procedure I read make it sound as though it should be straight forward. I must be missing something simple.
Thanks,
Col

Try username without @domain.com, with an empty domain field.
