Question : Outlook Contacts Category Question

Hello Experts,

From some reason all of contacts that imported with excel disappeared and I'm left with my default contacts. Luckily all of the contacts are still there, however all of my categories are now "not in Master Catergory List".

Can someone please tell me what is meant by "not in Master Catergory List"? And how to get it back into the "Master Catergory List"?
