Question : Is the a web picture batch download program
I am creating a home movie. In this movie, I plan to have graphics, sound over, and images.
I would like to know if there is an easy way to download Internet pictures onto my local drive.
For example:
Assume my movie is on trains. If I google train images, google returns pages of thumb pictures of trains. I have to click on them individually and then do a "Save As".
I would like to go up and highlight (if possible), a grouo of these thumbnail pictures, and then in one swoop, have the program grab and save each of the actual large (not the thumb nail picture) pictures I selected automatically.
Then I can go to the directory the program downloaded them to and use them in my movie production.
BTW, I am using Foxpro as IE keeps crapping out.
Appreciate the comments.
Answer : Is the a web picture batch download program
I take it you mean Firefox instead of Foxpro? Anyway, you could try a Firefox extension like
Outwit Images
, which ought to work with Google image search. It allows you to select images you like and save them all at once.
