Question : Strip Filename from a websit url
Hi
I have a long list of URL's of images on my website that I want to import into my database. I have downloaded the list of images into excel and they appear as follows:-
http://www.mywebsite.com/i
mages/imag
e1.jpg
http://www.mywebsite.com/i
mages/imag
e-two.jpg
http://www.mywebsite.com/i
mages/imag
ethree.jpg
http://www.mywebsite.com/i
mages/imag
e4.jpg
I want to use excel to prepare a csv file to import into my databse but I only want the image name rather than the whole URL... thus I want a formula/macro which would return:-
image1.jpg
image-two.jpg
imagethree.jpg
image4.jpg
I have over 2000 records to import!
Can this be done somehow?
Thanks for the help!!

Sounds like your options include finding an old case, cutting the cables, and splicing them onto yours--ouch!
