Question : Strip Filename from a websit url
Hi
I have a long list of URL's of images on my website that I want to import into my database. I have downloaded the list of images into excel and they appear as follows:-
http://www.mywebsite.com/i
mages/imag
e1.jpg
http://www.mywebsite.com/i
mages/imag
e-two.jpg
http://www.mywebsite.com/i
mages/imag
ethree.jpg
http://www.mywebsite.com/i
mages/imag
e4.jpg
I want to use excel to prepare a csv file to import into my databse but I only want the image name rather than the whole URL... thus I want a formula/macro which would return:-
image1.jpg
image-two.jpg
imagethree.jpg
image4.jpg
I have over 2000 records to import!
Can this be done somehow?

Answer : Strip Filename from a websit url
Sounds like your options include finding an old case, cutting the cables, and splicing them onto yours--ouch!
