Question : How do I automatically set Navigation mode when I enter a form field in Access?
I have a data entry form in Access in which I need to edit 1 amount field in each record. I set that field as the only one with a tab stop. So after I enter data in a record the cursor moves to the left of the first character in the next record. If I press F2 it changes to Navigation mode and I can simply enter the new value in the field and it overwrites the old data. That's easier than using the mouse to highlight the whole field or any part of it that needs to be edited. How can I automatically perform the same function as F2 when the field gets the focus? This should also work if the field got the focus as the result of tabbing or using the arrow keys.

Check out the "Behavior Enertering Field" option. In 2007 it's on the Advanced tab. Cannot remember where to find it in prior versions, but somewhere in the options.
