Is their a way to include it in the link?

Answer : Hyperlink in Word Document
I think that you can fix it one of two ways:
First try to right click on the link and choose 'edit hyperlink', add the '=' sign at the end.
Second, you can try to insert it, click on the menu choose Insert>Hyperlink and add it that way.
