Question : Certain websites time out on connecting

Whebn certain sites are entered, they time out in both browsers.
Vista PC with SP2.
Happens with both browsers, FF is default.
These 2 sites are the PC owners. I think part of his business.
www.wowcommaclub.com
www.joindocfran.com
I'm not at the PC now but can remotely access.

The second site was really slow from where I'm at (sweden), but it worked in both FF and IE.

Do you have a slow internet connection? Do other Flash sites work?

Check if this folder exist and has content:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash

Here's how to do it in FF:
Type "about:config" in the FF-address-bar.
Filter on "timeout".
There you'll find values for "network.http.keep-alive.timeout",
2network.proxy.failover_timeout", and so on.
Doubleclick a value and set it higher.
