Question : Pendrivelinux to install Ubuntu Server 10.x

i'm trying to install Ubuntu Server from a USB Flash Drive.  I've used Universal USB Installer from pendrivelinux dot com to format the drive and put the installation file on the flash drive.

I put the USB key in the server port, start it.  It ask me the usual stuff, so i pick up to install the Ubuntu Server, then it ask me in which country i live, the keyboard layout, etc...

Then bam!   I get "There was a problem reading data from the CD-ROM.  Please make sure it is in the drive.   If retrying doess not work, you should check the integrity of your CD-ROM.

Failed to copy file from CD-ROM.  Retry?"

Any idea what i might have done wrong and how i can solve this?  I thought it would be a convenient way to do a USB bootable drive to install, but apparently Ubuntu Server doesn't like it too much.

Pendrivelinux may work fine when it comes to installing Desktop Ubuntu from USB flashdrive, the server version, however, is much more intricate.

Even a solution considered to be working may fail from similar issues sometimes, depending on the specific hardware in use. In such cases, I usually recur to a network installation over the internet.
