Question : stop error oxoooooo7b(OxF78D2524,OxC0000034 will not load XP setup!!!!!!!

This sis driving me crazy, I have a Dell M2400 that came with Vista Business 32bit installed, we are wanting to downgrade to XP, when I get to the setup is loading window sportion of the setup it blue screens with this error code... I have tried changing the HD operation in the Bios to all of the selected options(ATA,AHCI,IRRT) still woth no avail. I have updates the chipset driver from the Intel site and also made sure that the matrix storage manager from the dell site was loaded as we.. I have done and F6 and installed the disk drive controller, still nothing is working.... please any suggestion sor solutions would be greatly appreciated...

Well, both the manual (which I downloaded) and the tech support page linked to above say you can access the recovery partition by holding the zero key, pressing the power button, and releasing the zero key when the system beeps at you.

Have you tried it several times?    (It may be "touchy" as to just when you press the zero key.
