I have a client PC that will not reboot unless you physically hold the power button. Selecting restart or shutdown from Start has no effect. Also, there are updates that installed and the message box stating do you want to restart now or later comes up, but when I click now, no action. And, if I remote into the PC using RWW, when I select logoff to end my session, no action.
This seems to periodically happen with this PC. If I physically power off and on, it will be ok for a while, then the problem re-occurs. It is running XP. Any ideas?
