Question : CentOS 5.3: install: booting off USB: misunderstanding....is there a way I can INSTALL linux from an USB drive?

Hello Experts,

I used this program to write the Centos iso to the flashdrive: http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
then
I boot off the USB.

well, the problem is that I thought that booting off an USB meant installing the OS from USB... uoop!!!!

I know I am an idiot!!!! oh well... all data was backed up and it was an old computer that I don't want to trash.... so, I am ok there...

now, when I power on the computer, it says:

"Missing Operating system
Press Any Key
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER"

the only way to boot the system is with the USB.... but, I wanted to install CentOS from USB...

is there a way I can INSTALL linux from an USB drive? Hopefully I can fix this issue...
I wanted to install CentOS 5; but at the moment I would settle for anything....
Its ok to wipe the system clean...

thx experts!
