Question : Configuring Incoming Mail to SharePoint w/o Exchange on-site

Is there a way to configure SharePoint to accept incoming mail (so that I can send email to lists and libraries), even though we have a hosted Exchange solution and don't have mail servers on-site?

(Outgoing e-mail is up and running fine using the SMTP for my ISP.)

I enabled SMTP on the SharePoint box, but then I wasn't sure how to get it to receive e-mail?

SharePoint has a public IP through ISA Server 2006, so perhaps I can get mail through this way, somehow?

Answer : Configuring Incoming Mail to SharePoint w/o Exchange on-site

One way to accomplish this, and not sure if it's the ideal way, is to register an alternative domain, send the SMTP traffic directly to your SharePoint server by way of the ISA server's mail publishing rules.
