Question : logon mess
I feel very foolish = a PC taken home off an office network as it was redundant has been causing mwe problems. I mistakenly changed Computer Name from domain name to a Workgroup. The outcome from that little fiasco was that on trying to boot up after making those ridiculous changes - I was not even able to logon to Windows on the wokgroup as nobody knows what th administrator's password is or the personal logon details.
My question is can I reboot the PC and reset the password for the Personal account' with a Password reset disc. If so is there any way I can get the network domain account back again. bearing in mind that this PC is not on the network as it was taken out of the office..If not, can I retrieve the data from the Server login when I logon to the local PC?
