Question : Cannot access LAN on Cisco Valet M10 wireless router

I just bought a Cisco Valet M10 wireless router to replace our existing wireless router (Linksys WAP55G).  We are on a domain with this wireless access point hooked into our switch.  I plugged the Cisco Valet in and it did not configure it self.  It told me to call a number that I spoke to two different people that were of no help and I am right back to where I started.  Here are some numers that might be important to the solution:

Server IP - 192.168.1.1
wired router ip - 192.168.1.254
wireless router ip - 192.168.1.253
internet ip - 66.63.192.2
subnet - 255.255.255.0
gateway - 192.168.1.1

On the old router interface, there is a setting specifically for LAN and it is set to "Static IP" with numbers

IP - 192.168.1.253
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.1

There is no LAN specific setting in the new interface that I can find anywhere.  There is a setting that can be set to "LAN and wireless", which it was on by default.  I put the same numbers in and it still don't work.  Also, DHCP IS enabled on the Cisco Valet.  Am I missing something or what??  Is this router just incapable of LAN connections?

Answer : Cannot access LAN on Cisco Valet M10 wireless router

Are you able to log on to the Valet?
it has a default address of 192.168.1.1 (the same as you server)
try setting 192.168.1.2 static IP on your computer and connect it directly to Valet in browser http://192.168.1.1

log on and in Basic setup - you can set a LAN IP for the router.
