Question : Extend RDC connection time  connecting to Ms Server 2008 SP1

Hi

RDC to this server times out too soon.  How do I increase the timeout parameter ?

Server is Ms Server 2008 SP1  Client is Win7.

Answer : Extend RDC connection time  connecting to Ms Server 2008 SP1

You can override the users settings as follows -

Start > Administrative Tools > Terminal Services > Terminal Services Configuration

Right click the RDP-Tcp connection > Properties > Sessions

This will let you change the server settings. If you want to change individual users -

Active Directory Users and Computers > (Browse to the user) > Right Click > Properties > Sessions
