Question : Can i use public certificates at *ALL* places in OCS 2007 R2.

Hi,
Recently i got a project in which my client want to establish OCS 2007 R2 setup.
Client has 15 child domains, i planned to use 1 access edge server with 4 front ends and 1 load balancer (F5, Big IP). Client does'nt have any certificate server and i m also not interested to install such server in the environment and planning to purchase and use Public Certificates for *all* purposes.

Please have a look and suggest on my OCS designing and let me know can i use public certificates at all places.

Answer : Can i use public certificates at *ALL* places in OCS 2007 R2.

Again, I don't know *NEARLY* enough about your existing topology or intended use to answer that question adequately. This is something I could only answer for one of my clients after an hour "interview" or if they are one of my managed clients, where I've already mapped their network and had said interview previously as part of their managed network on-boarding.

In short, trying to perform an hour interview in an EE setting is nearly impossible. While I enjoy helping and contributing here, there reaches a line where consultants make good money performing these tasks and it would be unethical for me to take money out of their pocket. Even if that didn't bother me, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to provide the technical and professional assistance at the quality I expect from my work through such tools as EE provides, and I suspect you will find most of the other contributors here feel similarly.

In short, EE is a great place for the "I'm stuck" questions, but should not be a replacement for professional assistance when it is required.
