Question : Problems with Sql Server 2008 Enterprise and Windows 7 Professional

I installed SQL Server 2008 Enterprise with it pop up stating I needed the service pack when installed but it bugs you the whole way. After installing just to test it out I tried every way to load the test db Adventureworks (all db's) incluing the mdb and ldf files so that I could just attach. No go with the exe install and the attach database.
Anyone else have problems and found a solution? Starting a new job and decided to upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 with all my developing tools. No major issues with VS 2005 and VS 2008 they develop in both.
But the main problem would be a solution for how to get the SQL correct, and I am not a DBA so I do my best with the installs the one in Vista was perfect and I did already did the  SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher Service and the Full text search.

Thanks so much for the help in advance!

Could you please post the error log details ?

If you want to run SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008 on Windows 7, it requires installing the last Service Pack.
