Question : exchange server 2003

exchange box in app log reported a event Id  1236 it bought down email for useers in that storage group - there is about 5 gb free disk space - what does 1236 mean? how to trouble shoot it?
Hardwae guy said all looks good on that end.ll..Please help thx-

Also it's always a good idea to make sure you are running the latest service pack level for your product (i.e. Exchange 2003 SP2 in your case). Check to make sure your system is up to date on this and any other relevant updates.
