Question : Mac Mini with Blu-Ray

Hi Guys,

I am planning to buy "the new" Mac Mini as a media center for a TV. Is it possible to add a standard 5 1/4 SATA blu-ray player (LG Model: GGW-H20L) in an external enclosure for bluray playback support? Would it simply work as is? Are there any decoder questions? Does the enclosure need to be FW800? - or is FW400 or USB ok?

notice that you cannot do video playback on the mac, simply not possible, you will have to load Windows to do so… all the info is on that website
