Question : Select all rows from multiple tables mysql

Hi,

basically put; i need to select all the rows from every table in a DB that fulfill a certain condition.  the tricky part is that i never know how many tables(or their names) and i never know how many rows(or their names).  to put the cherry on top of all that, each table has about ten of the same fields plus an unlimited number of custom, unique fields.  

hopefully i explained it somewhat well - also, this project is written in PHP working with mysql.
