Question : Log off users in as400 if no activity in iSeries

Is there a way for if a user logged into the as400 (iseries or dumb terminal) can have a no activity liit and expire/ end session?

We have people logged in all day working
then they go home and don't logg off
well an hour later End of Day runs and locks up at times with a user that still had some kind of record lock

thanks

Check out Joe Hertvik's excellent article:

If interactive users are prohibited to be on the system during end of day, you might consider simply ending the interactive subsystem(s) before starting end of day processing, and re-starting it afterward.  Operators will still be able to log onto the console and any other workstation configured to activate in QCTL.
