Question : Can't connect to Internet via Internet Explorer with domain admin login

I'm stumped. I have an XP workstation in a Windows SBS 2003 domain. When I log on to the workstation using the domain administrator account I cannot access the Internet via I.E. I always get "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page." On the I.E. Tools > Options, Security tab I have "Reset all zones to default level." On the Advanced tab I did a reset.

ipconfig gives:

        Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . : hprs.local
        IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.62
        Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
        Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

192.168.0.1 is the SBS 2003 server, and this should be the correct gateway.

At the command prompt I can ping to google.com, yahoo.com, etc. so name resolution is working and a connection to the Internet must be available.

I have uninstalled anti-virus software.

I'm out of ideas! Can anyone help me?

Answer : Can't connect to Internet via Internet Explorer with domain admin login

I couldn't see the tab, but I did have the option of restoring to an earlier point.  When I did that, the tab came back.  I then disabled all the restore points, ran some scans until they came back clean and then re-enabled the system restore with a new restore point created.  Thanks anyway...
