Question : gpo is not enforcing control panel settings
I am having trouble with apply control panel settings via GPO. When I run rsop on the client machines, everything seems to be applied except for settings under the control panel. I have set up the gpo in the following way:
all the computers are in an OU, which has a linked GPO. I modified control panel settings under computer configurations and added a couple scheduled tasks. I also selected to update my user account into the local administrator group.
When I logged onto one of the computers with my user account, I noticed that my account is not a member of the administrators group, nor are the scheduled tasks set. I tried running gpupdate /force on both the server and pc, but still no luck. I then ran gpresult and it confirmed that the gpo computer configuration settings were applied.
Answer : gpo is not enforcing control panel settings
I haven't tested that setting, I've always used restricted groups

You can test that out and see if your account is added.
