Question : Connect to network computers without them knowing?

I have a server running windows server 2003. I have our office computers connected to that server.

I wanted to know the best way to see what the other computers(workers) are doing but I don't want them to know that I can see what they are doing. I want to be able to connect to any of them remotely as the administrator.

Set it up on the machines that you want to access, use the client to access them.  

Now, if they ask you about the little icon in the lower right corner, it is so that you can help administrate and fix their computer if they have helpdesk issues (an appropriate use of this software).
