Question : Windows XP video doesn't show
I put in a video on a Windows XP PC this morning and it said the proper codec wasn't installed. I installed a Microsoft-recommended Roxio download and updated to Windows Media 11. Now it looks like the video is playing but there is no picture. What else can I check/add/fix? Thanks for any assistance.

Have you tried using VLC player? It sounds like you might have an issue with the DVD decoder on your system and VLC Player does not require a decoder to play DVDs
