Question : Touch controls for Windows Mobile / C# / .NET Compact Framework?

Can anyone direct me toward free/cheap sources for some of the basic controls that appear to be missing from the .NET Compact Framework for Windows Mobile development? Main controls that I need are a slide control with kinetics/touch and an imagebutton control. I downloaded the sample project described in the article at http://expression.microsoft.com/en-us/dd279543.aspx, which seems to have the controls I need, but the project didn't work when I deployed to VS2008 emulator.

I'm looking for something along the lines of Resco MobileForms Toolkit, SlideUI, or Mirabyte, but without paying hundreds of dollars.
