HP (and most SAN manufacturers) would recommend that you install their application on it's own server as this will make it easier from a support point of view.
However, I've never had any problems combining various management applications on the same server.
There is no reason why it won't work so give it a go. Obviously take a full backup of the server concerned in case it goes TU!
