Question : hardware for express edition efficient operation

looking at a low end system available to load SQL Server express edition.

apart from MS reco, what have you seen as practical CPU/Mem requirement for the express edition to work seamlessly.

It is safe to remove them.. They're error logs used to report errors to MS..
