Question : Exchange - outgoing messages stuck in SMTP Queue after repair install -
Heres the story,
Our exchange server picked up one of the rogue/fake AV suites and had to be disinfected with malwarebytes. After cleaning everything up the server wasnt booting properly and it was clear that some of the system files have been corrupted so we proceeded to do a repair install using the original OS cd. (The exchange program WAS working properly, only the OS was exhibiting weird errors)
The repair install went without any problems/errors and all the updates and patches have been applied. All the errors are gone and the server boots fine.
Our problem is that now all the outgoing emails are stuck in the SMTP queue.
Incoming emails are fine and we can send email inside the office to recipients with email addresses from our own domain but ANY emails going to external addresses will get stuck in the queue.
Our exchange expert is out of town for the weekend so I am trying to see if maybe someone here can help me solve/troubleshoot this problem.
I am at a loss as to where to look ?

if you're looking to see if it's set in a DHCP pool, try:
show config | include dns
If you're looking to see if it's set for the IOS, use:
show config | include name-server
