Question : One User Cannot Access Public Folder On Exchange 2007.

Hi
I just updated some users from XP Clients with Outlook 2003 to Windows 7 pro with Outlook 2007.
I have one user who cannot access the public information store.

No problem from his old machine or from OWA but from his new machine I get the error:
"Cannot Display the Folder.Microsoft Office Outlook cannot access the specified folder location".
Clicking on the + to expand the folder returns:
"Cannot expand the folder. the attempt to log on to Microsoft Exchange Failed"

Thanks Gordon

Answer : One User Cannot Access Public Folder On Exchange 2007.

No i understand that you only have One Exchange Server.

Create another Database on your Exchange Server.

Even in Exchange 2007 STD you can create 5 Databases (Stores).

EMC -> Server Configuration -> Right Click on your Storage Group -> Create a New Database.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb201716(EXCHG.80).aspx

Then move the Mailbox to this New Database you have created.

See if you are able to see the Public Folders from Outlook
