Question : Haven’t setup hint root zone file, but still can see internet records

I havn’t setup hint root zone file or forwarding, BUT I can resove internet resources. Why is that?
Folowing is my configuration
 
options {
   directory "/var/named";

};

if your lan adapter has dynamic address acquisition (e.g. "iface eth0 inet dhcp") then it will automatically also acquire dns server settings.

look at /etc/resolve.conf to see what dns server is set for that host.
