Question : Useless Windows 7 Services?

Although significantly better than Vista, Windows 7 seems to still have too many processes out of the box.  I am looking to refine it a bit.  Outside of vendor specific services (Like all the thinkpad stuff Lenovo puts in the system) can some of the experts outline some of the services that Microsoft has put into the system that perhaps dont need to be running all the time?  I see services like Superfetch and Multimedia Class Scheduler.  The descriptions look like they can be stopped, but I dont understand 7 yet like XP so I am looking for some input before I start killing important stuff like the good ol superfetch.

I want to minimize the startup of services that only get used once in a while but otherwise can be set to manual until needed.

Regards
