Question : mysqld/mysqld.sock gone on restart:: MySQL does not start after rebooting

I have a LAMP running on my Ubuntu Linux desktop with MySQL. For some reason MySQL does not start after restarting/rebooting. Somehow the manually created /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock is removed on rebooting and the only way I can get my local MySQL server to run is using sudo mysql start. I want MySQL to start on startup just like Apache and PHP do. Please tell me what to do

Answer : mysqld/mysqld.sock gone on restart:: MySQL does not start after rebooting

There are two ways to acquire ESXi. As a free download suggested above and as an Embedded Hypervisor. The advantage of using an Embedded Hypervisor is you get to have real-time backups via the vMA appliance. The disadvantage of the Embedded Hypervisor is you can only buy it with the purchase of a new server.

The VSphere Client is the host management software that comes with ESXi and ESX.
