Question : Send Mail Merge Email to 2 recipients

I created an email using Word 2007 mail merge using an Excel 2007 as my data source. Each email is to be sent to a specific employee with a copy going to their manager.  I set up a field with both email addresses separated by a semicolon, [email protected]; [email protected], but Outlook doesn't seem to recognize this as two different addresses.

Is there any way to do this? I don't care if the second email address is in the CC or BCC field. We are only talking about 120 emails so if I need to create another field it isn't a problem either.

Answer : Send Mail Merge Email to 2 recipients

In fact, per Microsoft:

You cannot add recipients to the Cc (Carbon copy) line. Mail merge provides no way of designating ancillary recipients. Each recipient receives a copy of the message by being addressed on the To line of the message.

But I think you have my workaround. I will add each manager to their own line with all the other information the same so they will get their own copy of the email I send to the employee.
