Question : BSOD and bootcat.cache
Hi,
suddenly on a few Windows 7 pc's I experience a BSOD at startup (also in safe mode). The exact error and solutionen (deleting bootcat.cache) is described here:

The KB says that the cause is "This issue occurs because the Bootcat.cache file is corrupted or because the size of the Bootcat.cache file is changed since the last successful start. "
Since I've had this error on 5-10 pc's I'd like to know what is causing the corruption or size change? Is it possible to be proactive about it?
