Question : Connect database created from Sharepoint 2010 beta in SharePoint 2010 RTM.
Is there a way to open, connect a database created from SharePoint 2010 beta in SharePoint 2010 RTM? It's look like SharePoint 2010 RTM won't accept to open my "old' database. When i'm trying to open it from the Sharepoint 2010 Products Configuration Wizard i'm receiving the next message : Failed to connect to the existing server farm located at the specified database server and database name. The database name is not a valid configuration database. Is there a way to fix that?
Answer : Connect database created from Sharepoint 2010 beta in SharePoint 2010 RTM.
I believe MS made a statement that they were not supporting beta to rtm upgrade. What I suggest you do is export your content via stsadm -o export.
