Question : How to print an entire help file or save as / convert help file to pdf?

For programs that don't publish a complete user's manual as a pdf document, is there a way to print the entire help file, either on paper or to a pdf document, without having to "print" each topic, one by one?

I am one of those people that strongly prefers reading printed paper rather than onscreen.  When I have a new piece of software, I like to print the entire help file, creating my own user's manual.

Currently, I open the help file of a program, right-click on each heading, choose to "print the heading and all sub-topics", and then either print or print to a pdf document.  To compile the entire help file contents, I use Bullzip PDF Printer, creating a complete pdf of the help contents by appending the original doc with each successive topic.

Hi Duchenne,

There is an easier way:

Install PDFCreator (freeware) from below link:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/files/PDFCreator/PDFCreator 1.0.1/PDFCreator-1_0_1_setup.exe

while printing each "print the heading and all sub-topics",  select PDFCreator in printers list and print.
you will get a prompt where you can print to a file or "wait-collect" option is there. Choose "wait-collect" option and it puts all prints in its buffer, there you can merge all prints and finally print to a single pdf file.
