Question : Group Policy Inheritance

Hi,
I'm just learning how to use group policy.
Right now I have a GPO configured for my default domain policy which I tweaked a bit.  Underneath of this, in a child OU, I have another "Admin" group policy which I only intend to have applied to me and the other IT Staff.

In Group Policy Management, when I click on the OU, and choose the Group Policy Inheritance tab, I see #1. IT Staff Policy (the GPO I created) #2. Default Domain Policy.

However it seems to ONLY be using the #1. policy.  I assumed that it would use both.
Is there a way to have it use both?  Is this something I have configured wrong?

Thanks,
Jamie

Answer : Group Policy Inheritance

You don't need to  set it to enforced; it is already linked at the domain level.

If you are blocking inheritance at the OU level that would cause the domain policies to not apply.

For an RSoP in GPMC go down to the bottom you will see group policy results.  Right click there to run a new report.  You can pick your box and your account to see what is being applied (and what might be getting filtered)

Thanks

Mike
