Question : After Effect

Hi,
It`s about rendering and working with heavy footages in after effects cs4/cs5

which computer specification i need to run after effect with the most fastest speed in rendering..
it is about the process (CORE i7) or buying more memory or it depends on graphic card.
I have strong graphic card (ati 4870X2gb) radeon .
which seems that it doesn`t do anything with speeding up rendering in AE cs4/cs5-64bit
I`m thinking to buy core i7 + 4/6/or maybe 16gb 2000mhz memory...ONLY IF this will solve the problem..
i need help to decide;.

faster video rendering is assisted by
at least 850 watts PSU, reliable brands such as thermal take
4 gig of ram on Vista Windows 7
2 hard drives with best brand for speed store the ram and temp files on the secondary drive.
dual core at 3 hrtz
Defrag the harddrives and clear temp files.
