Question : Change IP address of Exchange 2007 mail server

We are running Exchange 2007 and have been told we need to change the internal IP range on our network. Is there anything that I need to do to Exchange 2007 before or after I change the IP address of the mail server?

I would stop all services for exchange
change the IP addresses
run ipconfig /registerdns from a command line
check DNS has updated correctly.
start all the services

set all the exchange services to disabled
change the IP addresses
run ipconfig /registerdns from a command line
reboot the server
once rebooted, check that DNS has updated correctly
change the exhcnage services back to how they were
reboot the server

the key to it all is to make sure DNS has been updated correctly before you try and do anything with exchange.
